Ghatagaon: Police arrested at least four youths from Poijamula village here today for filming a young couple’s video on their mobile phones in Atei Reserve Forest four days ago and later making it viral on social media sites.
The accused have been identified as Mansingh Chaki, Sakaram Chaki, Dadu Munda and Sunia Munda. All are residents of Poijamula village.
Police said, on October 12 the accused detained a young couple from Anandpur area inside the Atei forest and called up police to handover them by informing that they were spotted in objectionable position. Later they uploaded a video recorded on their mobile phone on social media.
However, after the video uploaded on social media sites sparked uproar and the victim boy’s father lodged a case with police, cops swung into action and arrested the accused.
Notably, the mobile video which is doing rounds on the social media platforms shows the accused using slangs against the couple while reprimanding them to visit the forest. Later the video features the girl begging for mercy to the detainers and the latter trying to tie-up his mail friend to a nearby tree.
