Puri: Tension prevailed at Khadipada village Primary School yesterday after a 4-feet-long cobra was caught while trying to enter into the school bag of a student.
The incident took place during the Mid-Day Meal hour at the school when the students were out of their classroom. After some staffs spotted the cobra the Snake Helpline was intimated for help.
Sangram Keshari Das of Snake Helpline rushed to the spot and caught the Cobra subsequently.
The male cobra which was caught from the school is around 4-year-old, said Das.
