4 districts issued yellow warning for rain with lightning in Odisha
Apart from Gajapati, Ganjam, Rayagad and Kandhamal districts, the same weather condition may also be seen in other different parts of the State.
Bhubaneswar: Several parts of Odisha have been witnessing scorching heat throughout the day and rain accompanied by thunderstorm/lightning in the afternoon since a couple of days. The same weather condition is likely to prevail till tomorrow, predicted the city-based regional centre of IMD (India Meteorological Department).
The weather department, meanwhile, issued a yellow warning for four districts of Odisha saying that rain with thunderstorms and lightning are expected to occur in Gajapati, Ganjam, Rayagad and Kandhamal. Some parts of these districts are also likely to witness hailstorms today.
Apart from Gajapati, Ganjam, Rayagad and Kandhamal districts, the same weather condition may also be seen in other different parts of the State.
