Bhubaneswar: A minor boy was allegedly attacked by some miscreants at Bharatpur under Khandagiri police limits in Bhubaneswar few days ago.
The deceased have been identified as Badal Padhi.
Sources said, he was attacked by some assailants with a sharp knife on September 2 evening, when the latter had gone to buy groceries.
He sustained grevious injuries and was hospitalised. However, the minor died last night while undergoing treatment.
Later, police arrested four persons in connection with the attack.
On the other hand, policemen have been deployed in the locality to avoid any untoward incident.
