Keonjhar : In a shocking incident four persons have been arrested for alleged gang-rape of a minor girl of Jalananda village under Ghasipura Police Limits in Keonjhar district of Odisha on Sunday.
The four accused have been identified as Medo Nayak, Chugulu Nayak, Bolia Nayak and Kuna Nayak of the same village.
According to reports, the 17-year-old girl was returning from nearby fields after attending nature’s call when the four accused kidnapped her and alleged gang-raped her.
After the incident was reported the police arrested the accused under multiple Sections of the IPC and the POCSO Act. The four accused will undergo medical check-up and will then be forwarded to court, informed the police.
