389 Cr of Lord Jagannath’s Deposit in Yes Bank Will be Transferred Tomorrow

Puri: While the moratorium imposed on Yes Bank is about to be lifted at 6 pm today, the Sri Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) has decided to withdraw the first phase maturity amount worth Rs 389 cr from the bank tomorrow.

The money will be transferred to the Sri Mandir administration account, UCO Bank Main Branch, Puri. The amount was credited to the YES bank account on March 19, 2019 in shape of TDRs.

The second phase amount i.e. Rs.156 cr will mature on March 30 and an intimation to withdraw the same will be submitted to the bank today. An intimation to withdraw the first phase amount had already been submitted yesterday.
