Cuttack: Tightening the noose around illegal drug traders Excise sleuths seized 36 kg of ganja from Badambadi Bus Stand in Cuttack on Saturday. Two persons have been arrested in this regard.
Acting on a tip-off, the Central Excise Intelligence seized the contraband from their possession, which is estimated to worth around Rs 4 Lakh. As per the Excise officials, they intercepted the accused persons when they were on their way from Link Road to Badambadi and seized the narcotic.
The two arrested persons are from Ganjam. They were smuggling the cannabis from Kandhamal to Gandhipali area of Bhubaneswar, the officials added.
