36 mobile phones worth Rs 5 lakh seized, Mobile Thief held in Odisha’s Jharsuguda

Jharsuguda: In a big success Police seized as many as 36 mobile phones worth Rs 5 lakh by cracking a mobile theft case within 6 days of incident and arrested the thief in Jharsuguda district of Odisha.

The accused mobile thief has been identified as Sanjay Barik of Chikhlapali village in the district.

As per reports, on last December 22 night, the accused had stolen the mobile phones from the mobile shop of Thayanath Meher in Panchagan area after making a hole through the rear wall of the shop.

The theft scene was caged in the CCTV. Based on the CCTV footage and complaint lodged by the victim Police initiated investigation and nabbed the culprit from the nearby jungle and seized all the 36 mobile phones from his possession within six days.
