Puri: Amid the continuous drug haul in Balasore district, 356 gms of brown sugar have been seized in Puri and four drug peddlers have been arrested by Odisha Police on Tuesday.
Based on a piece of reliable information against illegal transportation/possession of Narcotic Drugs, a joint raid was conducted by a team of Police and Puri Special Task Force (STF) in Baseli Sahi area.
During the search, 356 grams of brown sugar was seized from the spot and four youths have been arrested.
Adding to it, cash worth Rs 17,000, three bikes, and five mobile phones have also been recovered from their possession.
Notably, a press meeting will be conducted where the Puri Police will provide the details regarding this drug haul.
Earlier on February 10, the Special Task Force (STF) team of Bhubaneswar seized over one kilo of brown sugar from Soro and arrested one drug dealer.
Ms Kalinga
