316 new COVID19 cases detected in Bhubaneswar, Active cases stand at 3507

Bhubaneswar : As many as 316 new Covid-19 positive cases have been detected from Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) area in Odisha in the last 24 hours,  the  BMC  tweeted on Friday.

Out of the fresh 316 Covid-19 cases in the State Capital, as many as 84 cases have been detected from quarantine, while 232 are local contact cases.

The BMC said that as many as 336 persons of the city have recovered from Covid-19 in last 24 hours.

To date, as many as 24, 853 persons have been tested positive in the city, of which 111 persons have succumbed to the virus while 21,214 Covid-19 patients have been cured.

The active cases of the State Capital stand at 3,507, the civic body said.

In a tweet, the civic body updated the newly detected Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours under the BMC area.
