31 objectionable videos have gone viral in last 3 months in Odisha: CM Naveen

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday informed that 31 objectionable videos have been made viral on social networking sites from Odisha during the last three months.

Patnaik, while replying to a question by Congress MLA Bhujabal Majhi in Odisha Legislative Assembly, also said that 124 cybercrime cases were reported in the last three months.

The state police had issued an advisory to check obscene videos and images from being made viral on social networking sites and arrested many accused. However, many such videos from Bhubaneswar, Koraput, Kalahandi, Mayurbhanj, Balasore and Bhadrak were made viral.

Winner of a reality show, which was telecasted in one of the Odia channels in 2016, was the recent victim whose sex video had gone viral on April 9.
