Bhubaneswar: Tightening the noose around the neck of drug peddlers Police on Tuesday nabbed two persons in the capital city of Odisha. Balianta Police nabbed the two accused persons from the Puri canal area in Hanspal.
The two accused persons have been identified as Anil Nayak and Shaikh Samsuddin.
As per reports, Balianta Police conducted raid in Puri canal area in Hanspal and nabbed the two persons. Police also seized 300 grams of brown sugar, an Alto car and a CD Deluxe bike and two phones from their possession.
One of the accused is said to be from Balasore area while the other is from Kedarpalli slum area in the capital city. They had written ‘PRESS’ on the vehicle and illegally trading brown sugar.
Further investigation of the case is underway.
