Bhubaneswar: The Odisha police apprehended three women and seized 30 kgs of ganja from a bus stand in the capital city of Odisha.
Based on a reliable information, the Bharatpur police conducted a raid in plain clothes at the Baramunda bus stand and seized 30 kg of ganja and arrested three women.
The arrested have been identified as Sia Sharma, Marjina Bibi of Kolkata and Saraswati Nayak of Kandhamal.
According to reports, Saraswati had come to Bhubaneswar carrying a bag full of ganja from Kandhamal. She had planned to transport the cannabis to Kolkata by the bus.
The police has initiated further investigation into the matter.
