Balasore: As many as 30 cattle have been rescued by Simulia police under Soro police limits in Balasore district of Odisha.
The animals were allegedly being trafficked in a vehicle when it was intercepted.
The police got the information, intercepted a vehicle and found cattle inside the carrier.
The driver and helper immediately absconded from the spot and abandoned the vehicle.
According to reports, the animals were being transported illegally from Balasore in Odisha to West Bengal.
