3 officers given compulsory retirement, 1 RI expelled in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: As many as three officers of Odisha have been given compulsory retirement and one Revenue Inspector (RI) has been expelled by State Government on grounds of inefficiency and dereliction of duty.

The three officers given compulsory retirement include:

  1. The Community Organizer (Jatani Municipality and former officer of Chatrapur NAC) of Sambalpur Municipality Corporation Lalita Kapoor. There are two cases of corruption against the officer.
  2. Officer of Belpahar Municipality Lokanath Tiwari has been given compulsory retirement due to incompetence and dishonesty.
  3. Former Officer of Jharsuguda Municipality Ramchandra Pradhan has been given compulsory retirement due to incompetence, dishonesty and financial irregularities.

The Revenue Inspector of Betal village Puri Manoj Kumar Parida has been expelled for misconduct, negligence in duty and disobedience to the orders of higher authorities.

Earlier, the pensions of former Additional SP and former DSP of Home Guard of Balangir Srikant Mishra along with former AFO of Ganjam Bellaguntha Block has been permanently stopped. So far, strict action has been taken against a total of 140 officers.
