3 more patients succumb to Covid-19 in Odisha, Toll rises to 8,373

Bhubaneswar: As many as three Covid infected patients died in the last 24 hours, informed the State Health & Family Welfare Department on Friday.

The State Health & Family Welfare Department informed about the death of three Covid infected patients including two from Bhubaneswar.

The list does not reflect deaths occurring on a particular day. It gives details of past deaths for which the death audit process has been duly completed and the cause of death has been identified as due to Covid-19.

1. A 82 years old Female of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Chronic Kidney Disease.

2. A 54 years old Female of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Hypertension.

3. A 13 years old Male of Mayurbhanj District.

The department further stated that this list does not reflect deaths occurring on a particular day. It gives details of past deaths for which the death audit process has been duly completed and the cause of death has been identified as due to Covid-19.

It is pertinent to mention that India reported 340 deaths in the last 24 hours, according to a health ministry update. So far, 110.23 crore vaccine doses have been administered in the country, with 57,54,817 doses being given in the last 24 hours.
