Sambalpur: In a tragic incident as many as three people were killed in Sambalpur district of Odisha in a road mishap on Wednesday. The incident took place in Bhabanipali under Jujumara Police limits in the district.
The deceased persons are yet to be identified.
As per reports, a speeding Hyva truck hit the bike from rear in this road mishap at Bhabanipali. Resultantly, the bike got destroyed while the rider and pillion rider were thrown away to the road side. Three persons were killed on the spot in this incident.
After getting information Police reached the spot. Meanwhile the locals nabbed the Hyva driver and handed over him to the Police. The driver has also sustained injury in the case.
Police have seized body of the three deceased persons and further investigation of the case is underway.
