Ganjam: As many as three people have been killed after being hit by a moving train at Haldiapadar level crossing in Berhampur of Ganjam distrcit late on Sunday night.
Reportedly, total of seven people were crossing the railway track when three among them were crushed to death by getting hit against the Visakhapatnam-Tatanagar special train.
The locals immediately informed about the incident to the Government Railway Police (GRP).
On getting the information, GRP arrived at the spot and sent the bodies for autopsy to MKCG Medical College And Hospital, Berhampur.
The identities of the deceased people have not yet been ascertained. The cops have initiated a probe into the matter.
