Cuttack: At least three youths have been critically injured in firing between rival groups in Pratapnagari area here on the occasion of Holi festival today.
The injured have been identified as Sameer Raut, Kalindi Raut and Sushant Raut. They have been admitted in the SCB Medical College and Hospital for their treatment.
Though the exact reason behind the firing was yet to be ascertained, Police sources said the incident occurred when a clash was erupted between two groups during a picnic after playing Holi in the outskirts of the millennium city.
An FIR has been lodged at Cuttack Sadar Police Station in this connection. Raids were being carried out to nab the accused, Police said.
