Balasore: At least three persons including two women sustained critical injuries and were rushed to hospital after a mud wall caved in and collapsed on them in Aladia village under Balasore Sadar block here last night.
The victims have been identified as Mantu Behera (55), his wife Shantimani Behera (45) and their relative Ramani Singh (60).
As per the report the mishap took place at around 12 o’clock in the night while the victims were asleep at their house. A portion of a mud wall of the room where the trio was sleeping caved in due to some reason and fell on them.
The victims sustained critical injury after coming under the debris of the collapsed wall and were rushed by neighbours to Balasore DHH immediately where their conditions are still stated to be critical.
Police have reached the spot and started investigation into the incident.
