Bhubaneswar: The administrative officers across Odisha are being given anti-corruption lessons. The State Vigilance Academy has developed a special course for this purpose.
A three-day anti-corruption workshop is underway at the academy. State administrative officials have taken part in the workshop. Dr. Debashis Panigrahi, Director of Vigilance, inaugurated a workshop.
The main issue of discussion will be the role of government funding and the role of investigative agencies in reaching out to the beneficiaries of various government schemes.
Fifty officials from the Odisha Financial Services and Taxation Accounts Service are attending the workshop. Vigilance Academy will continue to conduct such training workshops throughout the year.
The State Vigilance Academy is the only institution in the country where anti-corruption training is being conducted. The State Vigilance Academy has also received ISO certification for its training.
