Bhubaneswar: Covid positive Case No. 44 a resident of West Bengal, has lost his life to cancer and not coronavirus, clarified Odisha Covid-19 chief Spokesperson, Subroto Bagchi.
The patient had previously been operated at a private hospital in Bhubaneswar for pituitary tumor.
Recently he had visited Odisha again for follow up treatment in the same hospital. it is here that he was detected as Covid-19 positive.
Here is the patient’s travel history.
After proper treatment, he was found negative for Covid-19 in 2 repeat tests. Although he had recovered from Covid-19 he could not be discharged due to his other pre-existing medical complaints.
He passed away this morning due to hypopituirism with septic shock and multi organ failure.

Now onwards sale of pan, panmasala, Gurkha, gudakhu etc. Should be banned as consumption of all these things will lead to spitting. My request to all the authorities to take action against those people who are selling them.
