2019 Polls: Nomination for first phase poll ends in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The filing of nominations for the first phase Assembly and Lok Sabha elections ended in Odisha today.

According to sources, a total of 275 candidates have filed their nominations for the first phase election which will be held on April 11.

As many as 245 candidates out of 275 have filed their nominations for 28 Assembly constituencies while 30 candidates have filed nominations for the four Lok Sabha seats – Kalahandi, Nabarangapur, Koraput and Berhampur.

As per the scheduled announced by the Election Commission, the verification of nomination papers will take place tomorrow and candidates can withdraw their nominations papers by March 27.

The filing of nominations for the first phase polls had started on March 18.

Here is the list of the Assembly constituencies which will go to poll on April 11 in Odisha.
