Balasore: At least 20 passengers sustained injuries after a bus carrying them hit a truck at Nampo Chhak on Jaleswar-Chandaneswar road in Balasore on Sunday.
The accident took place this morning while the bus namely ‘Noorani’ with Registration Number OR-O1-H-5786 was en-route to Balasore from Chandaneswar area with over 60 passengers on board.
The driver of the bus lost control over the wheels and ended up hitting a truck which was moving in the same direction from the rear causing the passengers to sustain injuries.
Nampo Police rushed to the spot getting intimation on the crash and rescued the victims from the mangled bus.
While all the injured have been rushed to Jaleswar hospital for treatment, 13 out of them are in serious conditions.
