Bhubaneswar: At least twenty people were injured near Janata Maidan in the capital city today thanks to an accident. Three vehicles including a Police van damaged in the series accident.
As per reports, a passenger bus was dashed by a Police van from the rear when the bus was coming out of the Janata Maidan terminal. As a result of the jolt, driver of the bus lost control and dashed two cars that were in front of it.
No casualties have been reported so far.
Several passengers of the bus received injury after the two collisions, one from the rear and the other at the front. Soon after the accident, the irate mob damaged the police van. Reportedly, over 20 persons, including drivers of the police van and a car sustained injuries in the series crash. All the injured were later rushed to the hospital for treatment.
