Cuttack: As many as 20 persons who have been tested positive for dengue are undergoing treatment at the special dengue ward of SCB Medical College and Hospital here till today.
According to SCB emergency officer Dr Bhubanananda Maharana, Cuttack district remains at the top with 32 dengue positive cases followed by Jajpur which has 11 dengue positive cases.
Similarly, nine persons each were found dengue positive in Kendrapara and Jagatsinghpur, six in Bhadrak and five cases were reported from Balasore, he added.
The SCB authorities have arranged 15 beds for dengue patients while five ICUs are functioning to cope with the rising number of patients. Additional eight ICUs are being readied for the dengue patients.
