Balasore/Bargarh: At least two youths were found dead under mysterious circumstances in Balasore and Bargarh districts since last night while the whole state was busy in Holi revelry.
In the first instance, a young trader from Balarampur village under Jaleswar police limit of Balasore district was found dead in a farmland in Rajnagar area on Odisha-West Bengal border last night. Multiple injury marks were found on the body of the deceased identified as Bapun Bhuyan.
After getting a tip-off from some locals Dantun Policed recovered the body and intimated the matter to Jaleswar Police.
Later, Jaleswar Police and West Bengal Police have a joint investigation into the incident.
Family members of the deceased have claimed it to be a case of murder and demanded stringent action against the accused.
Similarly, one Satyaprakash Choudhury of Chakuli village under Attabira police limits in Bargarh was found dead under mysterious circumstances this morning. His body was found from a farm located near the village.
While injury marks made with a blunt object were found on the body of the victim, local police has started an investigation into the incident of late.
