Balangir: At least two labourers have been electrocuted to death after coming in contact with high power electric wire in Jarasinga village under Deogaon block in Balangir district today.
The deceased duo has been identified as Dilbar Hussain and Ganga Hussain of neighbouring West Bengal State.
Dilabar and Ganga were working at a rural drinking water project site in Jarasinga village this morning when unknowingly touched a snapped live wire. They died on the spot.
Police have seized the bodies for autopsy after reaching the spot and launched an investigation to find out under what circumstances the mishap took place.
