Berhampur: Two most wanted ‘Supari Killers’ sustained bullet injuries during a cross-firing with police in Karnoli under Aska police limits of Ganjam district this morning.
Acting on a tip-off, Aska police rushed to the spot while the criminals, who have been identified as Laxman Singh Rajput and Kuna Gouda, were hatching a plan to kill someone.
Both Rajput and Gouda opened fire at the police following which the cops retaliated and left the criminals injured. Police arrested them from the spot and seized two pistols, six live bullets, two mobile phones and one bike from their possession.
Initially they were admitted to the Aska hospital from where they were referred to MKCG Medical College and Hospital in Berhampur.
