2 patients succumb to Covid-19 in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Odisha sees two Covid-19 deaths in the last 24 hours, informed the State Health & Family Welfare Department on Wednesday taking the death toll to 8,413.

Details of cases confirmed as death due to Covid-19, after due completion of death audit process:

1. A 98 years old male of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Hypertension.

2. A 57 years old male of Dhenkanal District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.

The State Health & Family Welfare Department further informed that the list does not reflect deaths occurring on a particular day. It gives details of past deaths for which the death audit process has been duly completed and the cause of death has been identified as due to Covid-19.

Earlier on Monday and Tuesday, State also reported two Covid related fatalities each. The patients who succumbed on Monday were from Bargarh district suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Chronic Kidney Disease whereas among the two deceased patients on Tuesday one person was suffering from Chronic Kidney Disease and another was suffering from Tuberculosis.
