Bhanjanagar: Police have arrested at least two school teachers from Aska area in Ganjam district for getting employment by producing fake certificates regarding their academic qualification.
The held teacher duo has been identified as Okila Bisoyi of Mantapada High School and Ashok Sahu of Kendupadar Upper Primary School.
As per the report, post allegations that a number of teachers engaged at different schools under Aska, Kabisurya Nagar and Khallikote have managed to get employment by producing fake certificates, the Ganjam DEO had ordered for an inquiry by the concerned BEOs a few days back.
After Aska BEO submitted his inquiry report and Bisoyi and Sahu’s names surfaced in them a case was lodged in connection with the same at the local police station, the action was taken.
Notably, police have arrested three more teachers over their involvement in a fake certificate preparation racket earlier.
