Bhanja Nagar: In a shocking incident, a two-month baby girl was poisoned on Wednesday by her father at Dihaphal village under Bhanja Nagar police limits. The baby girl has been admitted to the city hospital in a critical condition.
Mother of the victim Laxmi Swain has alleged that her husband Munna Swain poisoned their daughter by feeding her some pesticide at their own residence, Police said.
A case has been registered against Munna, who has been abscondungd since the incident came to light.
