Jajpur: In an unfortunate incident, two brothers drowned in Brahmani river at Kothidiha village under Dharmasala Police limit in Jajpur district of Odisha.
The deceased minor has been identified as Sahil ( 11 ) and Sahid ( 10 ), sons of Hafiz Abdul.
Reports said that, Sahil and Sahid went out of their house to play around on Tuesday afternoon but did not return. The family thought that due to heavy rains they might be getting late.
However, his family went in search of them as they did not reach back home.
Later, two track pants, slippers and t-shirts were found near the Brahmani river which were identified as belongings of Sahil and Sahid. Following this the locals jumped into the river in search of the kids and fished out their bodies.
