2 minor boys fined for violating traffic rules in Odisha’s Sambalpur

Sambalpur: Days after re-enforcement of amended Motor Vehicle Act in Odisha, two minor boys were fined Rs 30,000 each  for violating traffic rules in here on Thursday.

According to reports, the two minor boys are school students- one studies Class V at a convent school in the district headquarter town, the other one is a class X student of a Central School here.

Sambalpur RTO officials intercepted both the minor boys, who were riding two-wheeler, separately during the traffic checking near Ainthapali chhak in the town this morning.

The officials issued challan of Rs 30,000 each against the school students – Rs 5000 for riding two-wheeler without valid Driving Licence (DL) and Rs 25000 for juvenile offence.
