2 Migrant Workers From Odisha Killed In Tamil Nadu

Balasore: In an unfortunate incident, two migrant workers from Odisha have lost their lives in a fire mishap in Tamil Nadu on Friday.

The deceased have been identified as Raj Kishore Mangraj of Nayabali village under Baliapal block and Mrutyunjay Gangai of Bishnupur village.

According to reports, four youth from Odisha including Raj and Mrutyunjay had gone to Tamil Nadu after completing their graduation in search of jobs. All of them were working in a cotton mill in Birdhu Nagar Coimbatore district in Tamil Nadu.

However on February 11, a fire broke out in the mill for some reason. All of them sustained critical injuries and were rushed to a nearby hospital. Raj and Mrutyunjay lost their lives while being treated at the hospital.

The families of the deceased have demanded compensation for the loss.
