Ganjam: In a shocking incident two members of a family have sustained critical injuries due to an acid attack in Ganjam on Friday.
Reportedly, the incident took place in Mamudiha village under Asika police limits in the district between a youth and his paternal uncle.
A heating argument took place between the two over insurance-related issues following which they attacked each other with acid in an enraged state of mind.
They were rushed to Asika Hospital for immediate medical treatment, added reports.
On getting the information, Asika police arrived at the spot and initiated an investigation into the matter.
