Bargarh: At least two Maoists, including a woman, were killed in an encounter with police in Salepali forest under Paikamal block of Bargarh district late last night, confirms DGP Dr. Rajendra Prasad Sharma.
The combing operation is still underway in the area. The police have recovered two .303 rifles, 105 rounds of live bullets and Rs 20,000 from the Maoists gunned down in the encounter. Both the Maoists hailed from Chhattisgarh.
Police DG Dr. RP Sharma tweeted about the incident on his personal twitter handle.
