Ganjam: In a sad incident, two labourers died after being buried for a couple of hours under the debris on Sunday in this district of Odisha. Three others have been hospitalized after being rescued. The incident took place in Phasiguda village near Ghodahada dam.
As per reports, the construction of a protection wall for the pond was going on in Phasiguda when as many as 5 labourers buried under the debris after a land slide during the road work. The firefighters rushed to the spot and rescued all the labourers with the help of JCB machine.
However, two of the five labourers have reportedly died. The injured persons have been admitted to the Community Health Centre in Digapahandi.
