Nabarangpur: In yet another tragic incident, two persons were killed in a road accident at Gadakhai Chhak under Papadahandi block in Nabarangpur district of Odisha on Friday.
The deceased have been identified as Trilochan Nayak (21) and Ghana Marigan (55).
According to reports, the incident occurred at around 3 pm yesterday when Marigan, a resident of Charigaon village under Dabugaon block was walking to his son’s house in Gopiguda village. He was run over by Trilochan’s motorcycle which was coming from behind.
Eventually, both the persons sustained injuries and died on the spot.
On being informed by the locals, police reached the spot and launched a probe. The bodies of the deceased have been sent for post-mortem.
