Balasore: In a shocking incident, at least two farmers were killed after coming under a paddy harvesting machine in Khuada village under Raibania police limits in Balasore district last night.
The deceased duo has been identified as Gopal Tudu and Madra Hansda of the same locality.
As per the report, the victim duo was trying to load a paddy harvesting machine on a tractor late in the night when the mishap took place. The machine slipped off the tractor and fell on the duo to crush them on the spot.
Police rushed to the spot and sent the bodies for an autopsy to Balasore District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) later.
A case of unnatural death has been registered in connection with the mishap.
