Phulbani: At least two persons were killed and another sustained critical injuries after the bike they were travelling suffered an accident near Penagaberi village under Tikabali police limits in Kandhamal district last night.
The deceased duo has been identified as Kansa Pradhan and Rinku Pradhan of the same village.
The mishap took place late in the night while Kansa and Rinku were heading to Tikabali on a bike along with one Sagar Pradhan when the rider lost control over the wheels causing a crash.
Sagar was rushed to District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) by some bystanders following the crash and his condition remains critical.
Police have seized the mangled bike after sending the bodies for autopsy.
