2 feet high man weds 5 feet tall woman in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj

Baripada: It is well said, ‘Match made in heaven’. A two feet tall gentleman recently married his love, who happens to be a five feet tall woman in Mayurbhanj district of Odisha. The wedding was solemnized at the Radhakrishna temple in Baripada on Saturday and the couple are quite happy.

Tapas Kumar Rout of Malihada village in Morada area is well known in his native vicinity as he leads a successful life despite his physical disability. He is physically handicapped but it has nothing to do with his ability. Yet, of course, due to the disability his height is merely 2 feet.

Kabita Singh of Hatigarh in Jaleswar area belongs to the Scheduled caste while his newly wed hubby is a man from the general caste.

About three months ago, Tapas had been to the Hatigarh area on his tractor to supply boulders for the construction of a Pradhan Mantri Awas building. During this trip he came across Kavita.

Probably love started at first sight and the two soon got involved in a relationship with each other. The successful love story continued for last three months and today the man and woman were turned into a couple after getting tied into the nuptial knot.

Although there were only a few invitees amid Covid restrictions, many enthusiastic people flocked to the marriage place to witness the unique and happy couple. This wedding has brought happiness to many in Morada area.
