+2 exams in Odisha to be held within 7 days of lifting lockdown: Minister

Bhubaneswar: The remaining papers of the +2 examinations conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education in Odisha will be held within seven days of lifting of the lock down, said School and Mass Education Minister Sameer Ranjan Dash.

The Council has finished all preparations regarding this. After getting directive from Odisha Govt the examination dates will be issued. It will be notified at least seven days before commencement of the examination, the Minister also said.

It is to be noted that the said exam has been postponed due to lock down in the state thanks to Coronavirus pandemic.

If the exam will be much delayed there will be problem for the students in taking admission.

The Minister has advised students and parents not to worry.

As per reports, the exam will be held abiding social distancing norms. For the first time in the country this type of exam will be held.

Some of the colleges are being used as quarantine houses. Hence accordingly exam centres will be finalised.
