2 die of electrocution in Odisha’s Jajpur!

Jajpur: In a shocking incident, two persons have died after coming in contact with a live wire in Jajpur district of Odisha on Friday, said reports.

Two of them died on the spot after coming in contact with the wire in their backyard. The incident has been reported from Tamka police station in Janindapal village of Jajpur.

One of the deceased has been identified as the headmistress of Raighati primary School Neetu Marandi and the other deceased her cousin has been identified as Shamsundar Marandi.

It has been found that the accident happened when wet clothes came into contact with electricity at home. Shamsundar is from Mayurbhanj district Chakradharpur area. Shamsundar was working in the police with the GRP.

Shamsundar was in Jajpur since he had some work. The man had gone to save his sister when the incident took place.
