Balangir: 2 people have died and 7 are reported to be critical in a road accident near Patnagarh in Balangir.
The people were on their way for a pilgrimage to Jagannath Temple, Puri.
Preliminary reports say that the people belong to Ghoomer and Papeya village of Patnagarh.
The Bolero bearing registration number OR-02-G-4949 rammed into a truck near the Balangir-Sonepur By-pass road.
2 people, Tej Bag and Shakuntala Sahu died on the spot and 7 were critically injured and have been admitted to Balangir Hospital.
Police have reached the spot and are investigating further into the matter.
