Baripada: A tragic road accident has occurred on National Highway (NH-18) near Murgabhadi in Baripada town of Mayurbhanj district in Odisha on Friday.
In the accident two people have lost their lives and one has been critically injured.
According to reports, three of them were travelling on a bike when a sand-laden minitruck hit them from the rear, killing two of them on the spot and critically injuring the third.
The identity of the deceased persons is yet to be ascertained. The injured has been rushed to the nearby hospital.
The Baripada police has reached the spot and is investigating into the matter.
