Bhubaneswar: A two-day special training programme on cyber crime investigation, intelligence and surveillance of the CID Crime Branch (CB) of Odisha police began at the Conventional hall of Police Bhawan here today.
Cyber Crime Investigation Specialist Ishaan Sinha will be supervising this training programme which is slated to conclude on July 11.
“The Crime Branch has been organizing different training programs, but, on cybercrime itself, I think, in the past many years or so they have conducted about 3-4 one day seminars or workshops. But this workshop will be more enriching because of the expert channel which is engaged today is internationally renowned and acknowledged,” said Odisha DGP RP Sharma.
IG, CID CB Arun Bothra, Addl DGP, CID, CB Santosh Upadhyay were among other senior police officials who attended the event on the first day.
