Keonjhar: At least two youths turned critical after their bike hit a pickup van from rear at Dubulabeda Chhak under Ghatagaon police limits in Keonjhar district last night.
The victim duo has been identified as Anil Kumar Nayak and his cousin Bijay Kumar Nayak of Makasukila village under Harichandanpur block of the same district.
Anil and Bijay had been to a nearby village to distribute invitation card for a relatives marriage and returning when the crash took place. The rider of the bike failed to spot a stationary 407 pickup van parked near Dubulabeda Chhak and dashed against the same from behind.
Police and fire services personnel rushed to the spot immediately and sent the victim duo to Ghatagaon CHC for treatment in an ambulance.
