Sambalpur: In a tragic incident, two brothers died after falling into an abandoned well near Laxmi Talkies Road area of Sambalpur district late on Monday night.
The deceased brothers have been identified as Sushil Tripathi and Sunil Tripathi of Sahu Colony.
The locals immediately informed to the local police and fire department officials. On getting the information, the local fire fighters arrived at the spot and recovered the bodies from the well.
Meanwhile, the CCTV footage has showed that Sushil and Sunil were sitting on the edge of the abandoned well whereas another person was standing infront of them. Both the brothers were spotted falling into the well.
The local police arrived at the scene and have initiated an investigation based on the CCTV footage. The bodies have been sent to the hospital for post mortem procedure.
