Rourkela: Two bogies of a goods train derailed near Malgodown area here on Wednesday.
According to reports, the bogies were laden with cement bags and the train was travelling from Raipur in Chhattisgarh to West Bengal.
While the exact cause behind the derailment is yet to be ascertained, a technical team rushed to the spot and put back the derailed coaches on the railway track.
The derailment affected rail traffic on the Mumbai-Howrah route as various express/mail, as well as passenger trains, were left stranded at various stations due to the mishap.
